HUESTON WOODS STATE PARK
Over the past 2 decades, Dr. Burt has provided care for the animals of
the Hueston Woods Wildlife Center. These animals have included: cougars,
bobcats, skunks, snakes, rabbits, turtles, foxes, opossums, and many
raptors including eagles and owls. Dr. Burt is excited to treat these
wild animals to help them return to their natural habitats. The Animal Care
Clinic staff are
committed to promoting the well-being of all animals,
including those
in the wild.

Oxford Police Department- Canine Division
The doctors of the Animal Care Clinic are honored to
provide all of the
veterinary care for the City of Oxford's canine police officer, Simon.
He is a male German Shepherd born in March of 2001 in Hungary. He is
cross-trained as both a narcotics and patrol dog. His handler and
partner is Officer Shawn Terrell of the Oxford Police Department.
On April 15, 2003 Simon and Officer Shawn Terrell
received a canine
bullet/stab proof vest donated by the Animal Care Clinic. Chief Steve
Schwein
is pictured in the background.
Miami University Police Department- Canine
Division
We are also excited to
provide all of the
veterinary care for the
Miami University's canine police officer, Ero.
Ero joined the MU police department in January, 2006. He is
a male German Shepard born in Jan, 2004. His handler and
partner is Todd Stewert of the Miami University Police Department.
